1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AthleteAXS you agree to:

• our Payment & Refund Policy

If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Purpose

AthleteAXS is a sports content platform designed to connect athletes and fans through intentional, direct content sharing.

The platform prioritises:

• authentic athlete storytelling
• respectful engagement
• non-algorithmic content discovery

3. Accounts

Users agree to:

• provide accurate information
• maintain account security
• comply with applicable laws

Athletes may need identity verification before receiving payouts.

4. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

Payments, athlete earnings, refunds, and platform fees are governed by the AthleteAXS Payment & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Athletes typically receive approximately 85% of fan payments after platform and payment processing fees.

Payments are processed through third-party providers.

5. Content Ownership

Athletes retain ownership of content they create.

By posting content, you grant AthleteAXS a limited licence to:

• display content on the platform
• provide access to authorised users
• operate platform functionality

Users must not redistribute exclusive content without permission.

6. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• impersonate others
• harass or abuse users
• upload illegal content
• bypass payment systems
• scrape platform data

We may remove content or suspend accounts if needed.

7. Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:

• breach of terms
• fraudulent activity
• legal compliance reasons

Users may close accounts at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

AthleteAXS is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law:

• we are not responsible for athlete content accuracy
• we do not guarantee financial outcomes
• we are not liable for third-party payment service interruptions

Nothing limits rights under applicable consumer law where required.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, unless mandatory laws in another jurisdiction apply.

Disputes should first be addressed informally through contact with us.

10. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued platform use indicates acceptance.
